Custom Rubber Composites, LLC is here to introduce you to a trouble free and worry free bunk rail system that directly interchanges with the system currently on your boat trailer. We provide the product, the know-how, the engineering and design support (if needed) - to upgrade your trailer and the adaptive parts to make it all work together neatly and correctly.
First, the heart and core of our system are molded bunk slide sails. These consist of a slick, space-age plastic top surface to provide contact with your boat. It is non-scratching, non-marking, and flexible -and provides a very slick surface on which to maneuver your boat both onto and off of your trailer. These can be any color and thickness to match up with your boat and trailer (or simply your preference).
Second, this top surface is permanently molded to a thick soft rubber layer to provide cushion and impact resistance from road hazards which create sudden shock loads as from potholes, curbs, or bumps like railroad tracks, etc. The rubber layer also acts to bond the rail together rather than any bolted assembly that can fail and do damage to the boat hull.
Last, this composite rail is completed with the top, the rubber, and a T-channel track-being compression-molded altogether to create the dimensional sizing required. The T- channel is designed to hold a T-bolt fastener that is used for attachment to the supportive framework on the trailer similar to the way the existing 2 X 4 bunk rails were attached.
This composite is weatherproof, rustproof, and rot proof and it is a permanent one-time solution.
